Description of the Plant
An errect annual herb grows up to 30 cm in height. Leaves simple, opposite or a whorl of three, ovate or rhomboid and serrate. Flowers axillary, solitary, dull white and small. Fruits are small round pods, contains numerous small seeds.
Medicinal Properties of the Plant as per Ayurveda
Plant pacifies vitiated kapha, pitta, renal and vesical calculus, inflammation, fever, wounds, ulcer, skin diseases, diarrhea, dysmenorrhea and leucorrhea.
