Kattilmadam

Kattilmadam is a monument dated to 12th-13th centuries A.D. This beautiful granite structure which is known as Kattilmadam is in dravida style with octagonal Griva and Sikhara. Its unique structure having ornated Sthambha pada, peculiar pranala, huge granite pieces used for making the wall and the roof etc. make it worthy to be protected. The government had declared it as a protected monument on 06-01-1976.
