Home > Temples of Kerala > Cherunettoori Temple Cherunettoori TempleThis temple is situated at Chittillancherry, in Melarkadu Panchayath, in the District of Palakkad, on the Nemmara Wadakancherry route. The sixfoot idol of Bhadrakali which is facing North is the presiding deity. Ayyappan, Ganapathi, Nagayakshi and Shkethrapalakan are sub-deities. Idol installation day is observed every year on the Anizham star day during the Malayalam month of Idavam. The temple is under the ownership and rule of the head of a family ordained and known as "Kenathachan."
