Kanichukulangara Devi Temple at Kanichukulangara a small village about 13 km north of Alappuzha and 12 kms south of Cherthala, west of National Highway.According to myth, the soul of a pious brahmin and the idol of Bhagavati are consecrated in small shrines inside the temple. This temple is noted for the 21 day colorful festival which is attended by thousands of people.(Kumbhom, Thiruvathira Arattu).
