The temple is having one time pooja and located inside 24 acre land. Olden days nobody dared to enter this area after noon. Now owned by Sri Sankara Trust festival is during Karthika of Vrichikam. In the same route another temple of Sri Krishna is there at Kesavapuramjunttion facing east and have daily poojas. Here festival is on Thiruvonam of month Meenam.From Lalookavu towards Attingal routes situates at Vallamkolli the Ayiravally temple on the top of a rock. There is foot print on the rock and the well above the rock have water always. Hence festival is on Karthika of Kumbam and no body know who the main deity is and believed. It is Kiratha (Siva) and Kirady (Parvathy).
