Palliyara Temple

Known as the temple of spiders. Inside the Sree Kovil there are plenty of spiders. There are big spiders also. For the poison of spiders there is an offering known as 'Malar- Nivedyam'. This is situated in the Pathanamthitta route Kottuman Panchayat, the main deity is Durga facing the west. There are 3 poojas. Tantram Thazhman. The Upadevatas - Sivan, Rakshas. The festival is in the Malayalam month of 'Vrishchika' on Karthika day.
