The presiding deity Maha Vishnu who faces west, is equipped with Shanku-Chakra-Gatha-Padma, is a lover of his devotees, who gives refuge to all who prays to him. On the southern side Ganapathy (Vigneshwaren) is present, who also faces towards west.
